If you are ordering a cake for a birthday or a gathering, this post covers what is on our menu, how many people each size serves and how to keep the cake cold on the way home.
What is on the menu
Most of our cakes are cheesecakes. A cheesecake is built around a filling of cream cheese, usually on a biscuit base. Ours uses Philadelphia cream cheese, and the Original is our traditional version. A layered cake is built from sponge with a filling between the layers. On our menu, that is the Carrot cake, with carrot sponge and walnuts layered with cream cheese. We also make a Chocolate Mousse cake on a biscuit base.
Some cakes sit between the two. The Red Velvet is red velvet sponge with a cheesecake layer and cream cheese frosting.
How to choose
- If the group likes a rich, creamy dessert, go for a cheesecake.
- If the group likes sponge, go for the Carrot cake.
- If you are unsure, order a cake in a mid-priced flavour and add a few slices of another flavour from the counter. Slices cost 120,000₫ to 160,000₫.
Whichever you choose, sizes and servings are the same for our cheesecakes and the Carrot cake: 11cm serves 2 to 3, 16cm serves 4 to 6, 20cm serves 6 to 8 and 23cm serves 8 to 12. Not every flavour comes in every size.
Looking after the cake
Cakes made with cream cheese and cream should stay cold. Put the cake in the fridge as soon as you get home. Saigon is hot, so avoid leaving a cake in a bag or a parked vehicle.
If you would rather not carry it yourself, we deliver up to 15 km from the shop. The fee is calculated at checkout from your address, and delivery is free on orders of 500,000₫ or more within 2 km.
Allergies
Our cakes contain dairy and wheat, and we do not make gluten-free cakes. The Carrot cake contains walnuts. The Tiramisu contains alcohol (Kahlua). If you have an allergy, message us before you order.
